The German Regiment

I have started to research the German Regiment, a continental regiment approved by the Continental Congress on May 25, 1776. The intent was to solidify support for the Patriot cause among German-Americans in Maryland and Pennsylvania. I just published by first report, sorting out the 2 different men named Frederick Heller who served in the war, one in the German Regiment and the other in the Philadelphia Militia. Sehr gut!
